How to Build a Simple Crossbow Firecracker Launcher
New Year's Eve may be over, but why wait until the 4th of July to satisfy your fireworks addiction? This super simple firecracker crossbow by the engineering student behind Do-It-Yourself Gadgets might just be all the excuse you need to start celebrating Chinese New Year (which starts on February 10th this year).
This ingenious contraption is just an old wooden crossbow sawed off at the handle and attached to a long-stemmed BBQ lighter.
A few wires from the lighter are fed through a small hole in the crossbow in order to light the firecrackers.
Check out the video to see it in action.
You can find more details on the project page over on Do-It-Yourself Gadgets.
